Were I've been and some of my fun projects over the summer...
This is so horrible!!! The last time I posted was in JUNE...and today is NOVEMBER 9th!!! Well that shows y'all what a crazy busy summer we've had here! Painting, painting, some sanding, more painting and then a unplanning trip to Tennessee and Alabama because I husbands grandfather passed away, it was nice to see the family though let everyone meet Kyler for the first time! We also go to meet our beautiful new niece Brianna for the first time:) I love the south! I was happy to get home though because as much as I complain about Cache Valley and the weather and how rude some people can be...it's just home!!!
Well in the middle of all that traveling Stephen switched oil companies so he could be closed to home. It ended up him being gone from the first part of August until October with only a few days off here and there...that was madness!!! But we made it through as always and he's now closer near Casper, WY.
So as you can all see and hopefully understand, this is why I haven't had time to keep up with my blog. However, I have a TON of fun project to post and share with y'all that I've done over the summer! I'm excited to get back on here and share away!!!

{Distressed breadbox with wire} SOLD
{Black distressed long dresser} SOLD Custom order

So as you can see...I've been crazy busy!!! And these are only a few of the projects I've done!!! I LOVE my job, it's my true passion! I'm so grateful and thankful everyday that I have the chance to do what I love and have a supportive husband that puts up with me and my crazy hoarding of furniture:) He always helps me when I have projects for him or am in a hurry to get orders out! I'm also thankful for my kiddos that are so patient with me and help there paintin mama!
Here's to having a good cup of coffee and being able to get inspired by all the creative woman out there that do there blogs and keep life fun!!!

What I've been up to....
Hey everyone! Sorry I've been MIA lately! I've been painting, painting, painting! I'm working on so many custom projects right now that I'm super excited about and can't wait to post! I just finished a chunky coffee table that I fell in love with for my awesome friend/client/hairdresser April :) and right now I'm on a piano that is going to be amazing for my great client and friend Terra! Next up will be a fun shabby chic dresser for Margaret! I love my job:)
I've also got some new fun pieces, a few I've finished and a few unfinished that you can choose your colors! I'll be posting them soon so check back!
Happy Friday everyone!!!

Custom Shutters Makeover
These are some beautiful shutters that I refinished for my wonderful friend Emilee Phillips! She got these for a good deal and painted them white. She planned to hang them on her wall with a quilt hanging inbetween. She wanted the beautiful detail to "pop" more...so I added some black glaze, let soak in the detail lines and then wiped down with a damp cloth. After that had dried I distressed some by sanding.
These were a super fun project to do! Thanks Emilee for giving me that oppurtunity!!!
