I'm always rearranging, redecorating and repainting rooms and stuff in my home! I decided to start posting about some of my recent projects and posting pictures along the way. I've got some great inspiration from others blogs and I wanted to share them, plus a little of my own style. Hopefully this will be helpful and inspiring to some of you.

KYLER'S BED MAKEOVER;

This is a pottery barn bed I bought off KSL for Kyler to put in his room when we moved his crib out of his room. It was a navy blue color when I bought it but had some scratches and marks in it. I first touched all those up because I was going to keep the bed navy blue, however... my love for paint kicked in plus the navy blue didn't give the room the look I wanted with his walls being a lighter blue. So over top of the blue I used my paint sprayer and painted a good deep red color that matched the red in his bedspread...which btw I picked up his bedbread at Ross for $40! Love that place! I then started chippy and distressing the red to show the blue through, Tip for getting the "CHIPPY LOOK"...I use a sanding pad and paint scrapper but I do it just before the paint is all the way dry!
