Mint Solid Oak Side table

 {Mint Solid Oak Side Table} $50 *SOLD*
Found this little cutie and the flea market last weekend and couldn't go home without it! It's solid oak...(which is hard to find these days...everything is made out of fake stuff which makes it very hard to get a good distress look with) So I was very excited to actually find a good solid table that was very nicley built and solid! I decided to try the chalk paint mixture again and it never fails...I LOVE that stuff! Just get your flat paint and add some grout...Mix well...how easy is that! It goes on much better and is fun to distress! Almost turns out the "chippy" way instead of normal sanding!
Please contact me if interested. Cash or Paypal available for this!

Look how cute and chippy the distressing turned out!!!

Custom Entertainment Center

This is a project that I did for one of my favorite clients/friends...Jocelynn!!! It was painted a distressed black and she wanted to get a lighter feeling in her living room so I painted it a off white over the black and sanded so some of the black showed through...she still wanted some black accents in her room...then galzed it with a dark walnut stain. The knobs(sorry I don't have better pictures) I stained with Ebony stain to bring the black marks out.
This was forsure one of my biggest projects so far because it's hard to tell in this picture but it's a corner piece so it's pretty deep and found to be a bit challenging at times to glaze in those corners, but I love how ti turned out!!!
Thanks Jocelynn for trusting me with your amazing furniture:) And for being so sweet!!! (she brought me peanut butter bars when they picked this up:)
I can't say enough times how grateful I am to beable to be doing something I love and to help others make their house a home!

Been working hard all week...

Hey everyone! So it's been a super busy week trying to get everything done for the upcoming boutique I'm having at my house on May 12th! I'm so glad that my hubby has been home but sad that he has to leave back out on sunday to drive all the way back to PA! Good thing though is he gets to deliver some chairs along the way to a client of mine in Nebraska! So that part worked out for everyone:)
We've been working on furniture and getting our yard out of the winter frump! Got the flowers planted out front and my sweetheart of a hubby made me an awesome flower bed by our back patio and also built a rustic wood panel wall by my rock garden:) ...I'm very spoiled and lucky to have him!!! I'll post pics soon of both of those amazing projects! But for now, look below at just a couple new items I am just listing.

When I asked the lady how old she thought these were she said they had been in her fathers home for as long as she could remember and she was 45 yrs old. They have great character and are super sturdy, solid and very well built!
I painted them a minty color, heavy distressed them and stained with a darkwalnut stain. Covered with a satin poly to protect!

This chair is super heavy and built to last! It would be great for an outiside decor chair, office, in the bedroom...just about anywhere you could think of! It's one of those timeless antique vintage pieces that will go in anyroom inside or out!
