Late night crafting...

Hey everyone! I hope the weekend is going great for everyone so far! Lastnight my friend/neighbor of mine and partner in crime when it comes to crafting and good ol thrift shoppin' got some stuff done for our upcoming craft boutique!
My sister and her friend came down to visit from Afton, WY for the night and to cut and paint some wood today, so them and my mom came down to my house lastnight and we did some craftin'!
I have to say the best part of the night is when Leslie and I decided we weren't ready for bed and decided to start painting my vintage 1920's kitchen table! We decided we were going to start documenting all of our crazy late night adventures when it comes to craftin'! That one will for sure go down in history! :)

New Etsy Shop!!! And other news!

Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday! It's the middle of the week and I can't wait for the weekend to get here! Hopefully the weather stays good so I can get some painting done! Oh and maybe some yard work!
There's a few things I wanted to let everyone know about! First of all...I opened up my Etsy Shop!!! I'm so excited to have branched out and be part of such a great community of crafts and people! This is were I will list alot of my smaller items that I've made. More home decor and message board etc. Please feel free to contact me directly on my blog or through email or phone. Measurements 32 inches tall x 26 inches long x 21 inches wide
This is such a cute little country charmer kitchen island! I painted it yellow, distressed and put a brown glaze/stain over top. Then put a few coats of good ol poly so its protected for good messy use:)
Including the 2 shelfs on the bottom and a good size drawer for storage, it has a towel rack on the side...which I though was a paper towel holder but turns out it's not...I tried everything to get that buggar to come off...wasn't happenin'...and also has 3 knobs on the side...which I'm just now realizing I forgot to take a picture of...that could be used to hang anything from!

Black Distressed Armior

 {Black Distressed Armior} $450 This is a very sturdy, quality piece that we actually bought and refinished for our own home about a year ago. It has it's own power strip for all the tv stuff and plenty of room for tv and entire sound system and stero plus your collection of movies and games. I primed this with a grey tint Kilz primer then painted black and distressed then finished with a walnut stain.

Look what's new for Owl Tree Treasures!!!

I'm so excited to share with everyone that I will be opening a new shop space! It's a cute little space right by my house:) I will have all my stuff for show in there and much much more smaller decor. If the weather plays nice...my plans are to have things up and running within a week.
I'm going to start with, by appointment only, showings and have certain days were I'll feature something and be open for the day!

 These doors came off my old hutch that I redid when we moved in our house. Love how they turned out and I have them hanging in my dining room

 This was the fix I came up with for a small wall space in my kitchen. Simple but cute!

 My armoir that we bought off KSL and I painted and distressed. Love this so much! In fact I've been fightin my hubby on getting a bigger flat screen tv cause that means I can't use this one anymore:( I find a new fun place for it though when that happens!

New Look...

So as you can see my blog got a new look today! I'm still trying to find a good look for my blog so I've been searching, however, I'm am NOT very good at this blog thing!
